YOUNG PERSONS SPORTS FAIR/OPEN DAY – Sunday 5^th September 2010 from 10-1pm

Walcountians Sports Club i.e. PWHC included, is organising an introduction day to all the various sports at Carshalton Road. It will be an opportunity for the local community to come along and try out the various sports and decide if they want to take one up – all part of getting adults and children more active. Put it in your diary as it will be a bit of a fun family day at the club and tell all your friends and neighbours!

NEW PLAYERS WANTED
Please contact any of the committee for more details. We are looking for players of all abilities. Training (all teams) every Wednesday throughout the season. Come along and introduce yourself. We also play summer hockey so contact us if you are interested in taking part. The fixtures are on the latest newlsetter. 

FACILITIES
We are very lucky to be one of the few Surrey clubs where our clubhouse, Astro and playing facilities are on the same site (which is convenient for Purley, Coulsdon, Banstead, Epsom, Wallington, Sutton, Croydon and surrounding areas).
Our sand dressed astro offers a superb playing facility for all our teams. Our clubhouse has a bar and many social events as we are part of The Walcountians' Sports Club with links to Wallington County Grammar School. Other sports catered for are rugby, lacrosse, cricket and a thriving youth football club.

MENS HOCKEY
We run 4 sides every Saturday. Our Mens 1st XI play in the South 1st XI Premier League division 1 and are coached by Johnny Oliver and offer a high standard of competive hockey. All of our other sides play in various leagues in the South and Surrey.

LADIES HOCKEY
We run 2 ladies teams, playing every Saturday and play in the local Surrey leagues. We cater for all skill levels from beginners to accomplished players and new players are always welcome.

COLTS HOCKEY
We have a flourishing Colts section with nearly 100 young boys and girls from age 5 to 17 training regularly on Sundays. We compete in a number of Colts leagues and various tournaments throughout the season. Whether you just want to come along and learn how to play or join a team, we cater for all standards.
